Gopher Directional Drilling Services was formed over fifteen years ago, specializing in horizontal directional drilling.
In April 2007 Murphy Drilling Pty Ltd took ownership with a view to expand and diversify operations. Over time we have developed a particular expertise in underground infrastructure.
To support this work a 2009 Vermeer D24x40II Series Navigator Directional Drill, with 250 metres of drill rods and rock tooling and a 2010 Ditch Witch 3020 All Terrain Directional Drill with full rock capabilities were purchased.
We also have a 3 hydro vacuum excavation trucks ranging in size from small/medium to extra large.
Licences, Permits, Safety & Insurance
Gopher Directional Drilling values a safe worksite. Our staff hold all necessary licences and permits as required for the work undertaken, including:
- All appropriate machinery tickets
- CPCCOHS1001A: Work Safely in the construction industry (White Card)
- Queensland Construction Industry Blue Card
- Ergon Generic Inductions
- RIW and SARC Accreditations
- Telstra Accreditations where applicable
We have all relevant Workplace Health and Safety Procedures in place and have the necessary current Workcover and Public Liability Insurances.
We service Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Toogham, Howard, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Gympie, Cooroy, Childers, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Idsvold and the rest of Queensland, Australia.
